Sam Konstas cannot stop scoring runs. The New South Wales opener smashed 149 off 131 balls against Western Australia in the One-Day Cup at the WACA on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
The innings included 15 fours and four sixes. Konstas reached fifty off 59 balls and brought up his second List A century off 106 balls, in what was his second consecutive century — following recent scores of 67, 71 and 151 not out.
He shared partnerships of 81 with Josh Phillipe (51), 85 with captain Lachlan Shaw (44) and 82 with Jack Edwards (45), before being dismissed in the 47th over. New South Wales posted 371 runs, their second-highest total ever in the format.
The golden run only strengthens Konstas’s case for an Australia Test recall, with selectors watching a young opener in the form of his life.
