Quarterback Jordan Love completed 30 of 41 passes for 288 yards with a touchdown and an interception, controlling the game for most of the night. Running back Josh Jacobs was the star on the ground, scoring two touchdowns including one that pushed Green Bay ahead 27-10 with 7:30 left in the third quarter.

Wide receiver Christian Watson had a scare in the first half, leaving the field for a hospital chest check. He later returned to the stadium and finished with an impressive 8 catches for 113 yards.

In a special moment before the game, Brewers players walked onto Lambeau carrying the World Series trophy, drawing a huge ovation from the crowd. The torch-passing celebration between Wisconsin’s baseball and football champions highlighted a golden week for the state’s sports fans.

Thursday was busy elsewhere in the NFL too. The Chicago Bears acquired star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans in a blockbuster morning trade. Meanwhile, Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons, sidelined with a season-ending knee injury from December, is reportedly getting closer to a return.
