Paramount+ has dropped a new trailer — plus key art — for “It Gets Worse,” a six-episode comedy from A24 premiering Friday, November 6, 2026. All six episodes will land at once on the Premium plan in the US.
Created and executive-produced by comedian Leo Reich, who also stars, the series follows three university friends navigating eviction, dead-end jobs, chaotic love lives and worsening mental health. The main cast includes Emily Fairn, Olive Gray, Sean Delaney, Dane Williams, India Mullen and John Tothill, with guest stars Andrew Scott — who plays Reich’s character Ethan’s therapist — Lena Dunham and Amelia Dimoldenberg. The series is narrated by Zadie Smith.
The trailer shows Reich’s Ethan in therapy with Scott, and Dunham as a fed-up older boss telling the trio “That sounds like a you problem, bitch!” — a line that already looks destined for clip status.
The show has already premiered on Channel 4 in the UK and Crave in Canada on October 22, 2026, and will also come to Paramount+ in Latin America, Brazil and Italy. Early buzz suggests a sharp, funny take on twenty-something chaos — the rare comedy that treats millennial burnout as both joke and genuine subject.
Reich is known for a stand-up style that blends satire with sincerity, and with all six episodes dropping at once, viewers can binge the full meltdown in a weekend. Between the A24 pedigree and a cast stacked with comedy and drama names, “It Gets Worse” looks like one of Paramount+’s smartest bets this season.
