When Were SBI FD Rates Last Revised?

SBI last revised its fixed deposit interest rates in December 2025. Since then, the bank has not made any major changes to its FD interest rates.

RBI Keeps Repo Rate Unchanged

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has recently decided to keep the repo rate unchanged for the fourth consecutive policy meeting.

The RBI had last reduced the repo rate by 0.25 percentage points to 5.25% in December 2025. Since then, there has been no change in the benchmark lending rate.

Generally:

  • A cut in the repo rate may lead banks to reduce both loan and FD interest rates.
  • A hike in the repo rate often results in higher loan as well as fixed deposit interest rates.

With the repo rate remaining unchanged, SBI has also continued with its existing FD interest rate structure for now.
