The Powerball jackpot is climbing toward Saturday night after no ticket matched all six numbers in the Wednesday, October 21 draw. The winning numbers were 1, 21, 44, 50 and 57, with a Powerball of 5.
The prize now stands at an estimated $674 million with a cash value of $283.9 million, making it the second-biggest Powerball jackpot of 2026. The year’s largest remains the $1.04 billion jackpot won by a ticket in Illinois on August 12.
Wednesday’s draw still created millionaires: three tickets won $1 million or more on Match 5, including one $1 million winner in New Jersey and two $2 million winners — in Ohio and Pennsylvania — who had added the Power Play multiplier.
The next drawing is set for Saturday, October 24 at 10:59 p.m. ET, giving players another shot at the swelling prize. Lottery officials remind players that the odds of hitting the jackpot remain 1 in 292.2 million.
