American football has made history in France. The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New Orleans Saints 16-10 on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, in the first-ever NFL game played in France, in front of 78,488 fans.
The Week 7 matchup kicked off at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network. Pittsburgh scored first, leading 3-0 in the first quarter on a Chris Boswell field goal, and led 13-10 at half-time after Aaron Rodgers threw a four-yard touchdown pass to tight end Darnell Washington, his 540th career touchdown pass, moving past Peyton Manning into third place on the NFL’s all-time list.
Pittsburgh shut out New Orleans in the second half. Boswell kicked three field goals in all, Jaylen Warren rushed for 101 yards, and a Payton Wilson interception early in the second half stopped a promising Saints drive. The Steelers won their third straight game to move to 5-2, while the Saints fell to 2-5.
The game marks the NFL’s latest step in its international expansion, bringing a regular-season game to France for the first time.
