Tecno has launched its powerful gaming smartphone, the Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G, in India. The company has already introduced the Pova 8 5G in the Indian market under the same series. The new smartphone is powered by a MediaTek 7000-series chipset and packs a large 6,500mAh battery. Its design appears to be inspired by Nothing smartphones.

The Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G comes in two storage variants—8GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB. The starting price is ₹49,999, while the top-end variant costs ₹54,999.
The phone is available in three colour options—Arc White, Graphite Black and Tundra Green. It will be available for purchase on Flipkart from August 21. The company is also offering a discount of up to ₹3,000 on the purchase.

Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Features
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with HyperLux technology. The display supports up to 4,500 nits peak brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also comes with an IP69K rating, offering protection against water and dust.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset and supports up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Tecno has also equipped the device with a dedicated Tecno P1 chip. For thermal management, the smartphone features a vapour chamber cooling system.
The rear panel features an Active Matrix Display, giving the phone a distinctive gaming-oriented look.
