केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने 14 अक्टूबर 2026 को National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) को अगले 5 वर्षों (FY 2026-27 से 2030-31) के लिए जारी रखने की मंजूरी दी है। कुल ₹53,428 करोड़ के परिव्यय वाली यह योजना अब PM Samajik Sahayata Yojana के नाम से जानी जाएगी, जिससे 36 राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के ~3.20 करोड़ लाभार्थी जुड़े हैं। सबसे बड़ा बदलाव दिव्यांगजन पेंशन में हुआ है।
PM Samajik Sahayata Yojana: दिव्यांगजन पेंशन में क्या बदला
- दिव्यांगता सीमा 80% से घटकर 40% — RPwD Act 2016 के अनुरूप
- न्यूनतम आयु की शर्त खत्म — प्रमाणित दिव्यांगता वाले बच्चे जन्म से पात्र (पहले 18 वर्ष तक इंतज़ार)
- मासिक सहायता बढ़ी: ₹375/माह (0–79 वर्ष) और ₹625/माह (80+ वर्ष) — पहले ₹300/₹500 थी

- Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme → PM Divyangjan Pension Yojana
- Old-age → PM Vridhavastha Pension Yojana
- Widow → PM Vidhawa Pension Yojana
- Family benefit → PM Parivar Labh Yojana; Annapurna योजना अपरिवर्तित
